I know that "be still, my beating heart" is something we say when we see something we love, but I also like to say that to myself in times of anticipation. Except in that case, it takes on a more authoritative tone.
Do you also remind your heart to be still in times of excitement? Or do you enjoy the surge of adrenaline and go with it? Or does your heart race so fast it almost keeps you from normal functioning?
I think I may do all of the above ;)
