Just sharing a few inspiring kitchens today. My favourites at this time are the first one (image above) and the last. Lately, I'm really into the idea of having a rectangular dining table in the kitchen. In the name of space economy and sociability, I think combining the kitchen and dining is a great idea, if the layout allows. What do you think about a kitchen/dining combo?

Fabulous! I like the 2nd one with the vintage fridge. I love the simplicity and efficiency of a small kitchen. Perfection!
ReplyDeleteOoh! I love 1, 5, and 8. I'm a huge advocate of open floor plans. I even like the living area to be open to the kitchen/dining. :) Beautiful inspiration, Holly!

ReplyDeleteHolly, you certainly found some great kitchens! Like you, I would love to have a large rectangular dining table right in the kitchen. My uncle, who cooks for us every weekend, has a kitchen island (closest to #5) including bar stools where we can watch him cook and eat. It's so enjoyable and creates this great energy in the kitchen.

Great kitchens. Of course, lovely Holly, not everyone has space for such grandiose spaces. Open plan is always best in my books!!!

Glad you enjoyed these kitchens :) If we have enough freedom in our next place I would love an open plan that incorporates the kitchen, dining and living area. But even further still, I'm flirting with the idea of having the dining right IN the kitchen yia a beautiful wood table instead of an island or tall counter that separates the kithcen from the dining area ... you know what I mean?

Oh boy do I love these kitchens! My husband and I are still battling it out over what to do with our slip of a kitchen. Love those boxey/crate stools!

ReplyDeleteI really do love the modern designs of these kitchens. Its design was so sleek and simple. Can’t wait to visit cabinets wholesale and check out some new cabinets for my kitchen.
