Hi! I'm Jessica Cleary, a writer for Arcadian Lighting, a website and blog that features the latest in interior design and a wonderful selection of affordable lighting fixtures for practically any room in your house. I'm delighted to be guest posting for Holly today because I'm going to share a collection of beautiful interiors featuring bits of gold and silver accents. Sure to add an air of glamor and sophistication, gold and silver are a great choice for brightening up a room. I hope you enjoy!
Chic modern furniture and a black and cream color palette create a perfectly classy atmosphere. The shimmering gold and silver accents emphasize sophistication.
Something so simple as a coat of golden paint can transform the ordinary into eye-catching extraordinary. This gold bar cart and silver planter and ice buckets set the scene for a classy dinner party.
This bedroom is absolutely stunning with its luxurious opalescent fabrics and sleek modern design. Sturdy golden table legs and these types of unique silver table lamps add extra glitzy beauty.
The intricate gold and silver detailing on this dramatic headboard and beautiful bedspread are stunning. A cushy white rug provides a lush texture to the room.
A faux zebra skin rug is an excellent way to add character to a room. The vintage bed and silver nightstands create a lovely, expensive feeling space.
A gold mirror frame and silver contemporary wall sconces transform this bedroom from boring to chic. I love the contrast of metals with the mod dresser.
This beautiful, feminine bedroom is filled with shimmering gold and silver accents without feeling too overwhelmed. The soft lavender and cream color palette goes well with the sleek, metallic surfaces.
Bold pops of gold and subtle bits of silver brighten this very feminine living room and give it an air of luxury. The floral pink wallpaper lining the shelves is an interesting way to add color and depth to a room. Images 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 | 8

Hugs up there in the North, I'm happy to see you are having a fabulous time!
xoxo
Thanks for stopping by Iro! Big Hugs to you from the North Xx.
DeleteI still can't get over how brilliant your guest blog was yesterday. It was so punchy and purposeful. Loved it!!!
ReplyDeleteNow, sorry to say I'm not a huge fan of gold and silver in the home or in hotels but there are many who favour it.
Nice post though.x
Holly, I love the guest post you did. Grey is currently my favorite neutral because it really does go with everything, like you so accurately called it. Great job!
ReplyDeleteI currently don't have anything gold or silver in my home and now I'm starting to think I should give it a try. It doesn't even have to be a large item. A Volupsa candle in a mercury glass jar would be the perfect starter.
Hope you're still enjoying some down time in the countryside. Have a great weekend!
The gold accents definitely gave the room a different feel. It looks very elegant and classy.
ReplyDeleteThe zebra skin rug is looking really great. It truly adds beauty in that room. I absolutely love the design.
