Happy Birthday Finn Juhl

Thanks to Nordic Design (one of my fav blogs!) I was reminded that today is Finn Juhl's birthday. He would have been 100. Yes. Quite amazing. So I thought in honour of that I would share here today my favourite of his pieces.

    @ Gerard: I love all these pieces too. But I have to admit, I like these specific ones waaaaay more than the rest of his stuff. Still, enough to make me a fan :) I do wish the arms of the model45 had less curve to them, but it probably makes for a much more comfortable sitting experience than if they were totally straight.... hmmm. I think I must be in one of my famous picky moods, lol!!!

    ps. thanks for the comment on my blog look too. I recently changed it. I think I'm quite liking it too ...

      Hi Holly. I do love Finn Juhl's Pelikan Chair. But have to say he wouldn't be my favourite Danish designer.

      And the blog does look great. Much more solid if that makes sense. Plus I love the colours :-)

    The furniture reminded me of office furniture nyc. The designs are clean and very stylish. Wood furniture are very comfortable.
