Time to share another fabulous online shop!
Since I offer online eDesign services, I like to provide my readers with online homeware shopping resources - as this is in line with my philosophy of "design without borders".
Therefore, the shops I share with you here have a common theme: online shopping, world wide shipping and liked by yours truly.
Today I'm sharing a charming Dutch shop called Orphan Socks. Have you heard of them? "Unique" seems to be the key concept at Orphan Socks - just like the lonely socks you pull out of the wash that you swear had a partner before going into the laundry.
If you're into flashy, this is not the shop for you. Instead they're items boast unique, simple designs that radiate with an understated elegance. I love their stuff because even though they're so simple and easy on the eyes, many of the designs are surprisingly clever which makes the items so fun! Have a look at my favourite picks:
featured product links: 1. kukka diy lamp wall 2. timo - handmade bird 3. nju hockenheimer magazin 4. snake wardrobe 5. iphone alarm dock 6. kristian vedel birds 7. recycle mugs
The nju hockenheimer magazine stools just blow me away. What a wonderful way to store and make use of old magazines and newspapers! And if you don't know what the snake wardrobe is, then go check it out. You're in for a surprise!
I urge you to visit Orphan Socks to see all of their amazing products. Remember, they ship worldwide, so no matter where you are, you can enjoy their goodies.
Have a great weekend!
Xx. Holly.

Ah, yes, I've come across them because was seriously considering buying a couple of the nju hockenheimer magazin stools. Aren't they great.
ReplyDeleteIt was another of my ideas how to store my magazines without having to use up storing space.... in the end I decided that I probably would want to read a magazine right at the bottom of the pile:) it's a great idea though..
I love clever design and they are certainly clever!
Happy weekend my friend!
