One of my favourite things to do is take inspiration from pictures, art or fashion and use them to create or visualize colour palettes that can be applied to an interior space.
Since autumn is here - in full force - for many of us, I have put together pairs of images for colour inspiration and created a colour palette to ago along.
Enjoy!
Are you happy autumn is here? Does your interior space feel different since the change in season? Have you had to make some adjustments to your colour scheme because of it?
I LOVE the 2nd & 3rd ones!
ReplyDeleteI love the blue carpet in the 3rd example... where is it from?
ReplyDeleteThank Coco ;) I don't know exactly where the rug is from, it doesn't say in the Better Homes and Garden article where I found the picture. But a little research led me to this:

It's not exactly the right colour and the pattern runs the wrong way I think ... plus it's quite expensive. I will keep my eyes open for a blue and white faux wood grain rug during my daily online adventures. Let you know if I ever find one exactly right ;)
Your research and discoveries are so curious and fabulous!!
ReplyDeleteFall is my favorite season, not only for the outdoor smells and warmer clothes we get to pull out from our closets, but for the wonderfully warm and soothing colours we get to see again.
you've done such a fabulous job at pairing those photos!!!!!
Aces, top notch girl

Are there really people that comment 'annonymously'? What's the point? Don't they at least have a name, even if not displaying any other information. How sad...
ReplyDeleteAnyway, these are lushious and gorgeous, way before I met you! The photos you found are stunning my dear. Now I'll hope back to the winter page:)
