Quotel - Temporary Interior Design - inspiring ideas on a budget.

Room at Quotel
If you care about interior design, then you are probably spending a lot of money in that department because you want the best quality, the authentic, the unique.  As you should, especially in your home. But it would be wise to say make careful, conscious choices.  Don't rush into things and be patient.  Interiors that progress slowly over time (and don't put you in debt!) are the best ones.

But here's a neat concept that actually requires, quick fix, low cost, good style interior design. Quotel, is a pop up hotel in Poznan,Poland. To deal with the city's no vacancy issues, during the Poznan International Fair, this hotel was put up in an unoccupied apartment building.  If you are familiar with the pop up concept - then you know it is a  temporary environment, usually well known for retail shops, but in this case we're talking accommodation.  Because of the temporary nature of this concept, cost becomes a serious issue.  Quotel is a good example of how style need not be compromised, using recycled and upcycled items and materials, DIY skills and Ikea, of course.

How cute are all those quotes in the rooms?  I especially like the one in the kitchen.  I'm not a big fan of words on walls in homes, but in this context I find it charming. I'm also appreciating the floors in this place - parquet, concrete, big tile slabs, mosaics ... love. They are actually what caught my eye first. Quotel was designed by Mode:lina Architekci.  Thanks to Inhabitat for sharing.

thank you so much for your get well soon wishes. I'm feeling pretty awful today, despite the high fever having droppped. I'm informed that it will take some 5-6 days to reach recovery. Yikes.

Anyways, do take care, enjoy your wonderful new Tango shoes and yes I couldn't love more the interior of this temporary hotel for all reasons you mentioned!

Sending love, while feeling very sorry for myself :( xo
